Next week, on October 10th, JJ Twigs will celebrate the opening of our first location in Lake Zurich, Illinois.  We can't believe it's been 3 decades and we want to say thank you to all of our fantastic customers we have had over the years.  There have been many fun times at our various locations and we are looking for to many more years of great food, great drinks, and great customers!

The BEST Happy Hour at the Lake of the Ozarks

To complement our already "Best at the Lake" Happy Hour, we will be introducing our Happy Hour/Early Bird Buffet from 3pm - 6pm Mondays thru Fridays!  Come on in and enjoy two for one drinks and our great JJ Twigs food.  We are the best place to catch the Cardinals play, your favorite college and NFL games, and with Hockey season starting, the Blues in action.

We offer 2 locations for the best family friendly restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks.  Come on in and see us at our Bagnell Dam location (across 242 from Paul's Supermarket) or at our Dierberg's Supermarket location on Osage Beach Parkway.  Enjoy your meal with a Lake View at our Dierberg's location!

5th Annual Save the TaTa's Golf Tournament!

One of the Best Golf Tournaments at the Lake!

Come on out to The Club at Porto Cima for one of the best golf tournaments held during the year.  JJ Twigs is proud to be the sponsor of the Save The Ta-Ta's golf tournament now in it's 5th year!  This year's tournament will be held on September 16th with a Noon shotgun start.  The tournament is a 4 person scramble and is limited to the first 124 paid registrants.  The cost of the tournament is $150 per player.

The Club at Porto Cima

The Club at Porto Cima is a Jack Nicklaus "Signature" golf course – the only one in the state of Missouri.  It is regarded as one of the best golf courses around and if you have never played this course, get ready for a world class golf experience.  There will be various on course events, and the weather is typically fantastic!  Food will be provided, and beverages will be available at several of the holes, and this quickly becomes the social event of the year.

Want to win $2000?

Enter the Great Helicopter Golf Ball drop for a chance to win $2000 cash!  You can enter by donating $20 per square.  Only two hundred squares will be sold.  The number of the square that you donate $20 for will equate to a golf ball with that number.  The golf balls will be dropped by helicopter over the 18th Green and the ball closest to the hole (or in the hole!) will be the lucky winner.  If you are not a golfer, you can still participate in this great contest.

Saving the Ta-Tas

Proceeds from the golf tournament and the Golf Ball Drop will benefit the Lake Area Breast Cancer Care.  Jim and Patti Wedig (Owners of JJ Twigs) wanted to give something back to the local community by helping to raise awareness of Breast Cancer.  Patti is a breast cancer survivor and this event is a great way to help others with this disease.

How to get involved

If you would like to play in the tournament, buy a chance for the Golf Ball Drop, or help out in other ways, stop in or call JJ Twigs (either location).  See Twig or anyone at the restaurant.  In addition, you can call the Club at Porto Cima and talk to any of the staff to register for the tournament.
