Lake of the Ozarks Shootout!!

It's official! Lake of the Ozarks Shootout 2014 is here. Boats, racers, and spectators will come from all around the Midwest to take part in the largest unsanctioned boat race for miles around. Racers have hit official speeds of up to 208 mph in the past, and all of us at JJ Twigs are very excited to see what this year's racers have in store!

Shootout activities have spanned this entire last week, all leading up to the big races this weekend. Participants have gotten to take part in a Mini Shootout, a Golf Tournament, PWC Dam Run, and a Poker Run, just to name a few.

The Main Events

The thrilling high speed races that leave spectators breathless are finally almost here! Saturday and Sunday will be filled with all kinds of adrenaline-pumping events, from drag races to flying performances. Watch as the highly skilled racers maneuver their boats at breathtaking speeds, racing for first place.

Watch The Races

Beat the heat and watch the Shootout races from the cool comfort of the Lake of the Ozarks best family restaurant! We'll have our TVs tuned into all the local Shootout channels, so you'll get to experience all the thrills of the races without having to deal with the big crowds or the overwhelming heat.

You can also watch the races by tying your boat up somewhere along the course, so you can get a first class, front row view. As you're packing up for a full day on the water, don't forget to bring plenty of food! JJ Twigs offers the best pizza delivery at the Lake from both our main location and from JJ Twigs inside Dierbergs. Let us worry about the cooking and the transportation - all you have to do is fire up your engines!
